Version 1.1.0 now (or soon) in testing.

Changes:
* Added more contrast between lit and unlit buttons
* Buttons are lit until next button gets lit or button is clicked
* Changed the speeding "algorithm" a little (can't tell if it's better or worse now )

I think sound is the only thing that is to be added anymore.

Tested the newest version from -devel. Could you make the contrast difference even greater? Say... make the unlit buttons darker. Now its kind of difficult to tell when a button is lit and when not especially in bit brighter lightning.

I'll do it sometimes in the future at the same time when I add sounds. I thought the contrast was fine even in the first version, but people have different kind of eyes.

This was my idea one day. I'm glad that someone made it true (;

Howdy.

I had some spare time and played around with the mSpede layout. Here is the result

PM me if you are interested and I'll chop it up in PNGs and deliver it to you.

I compiled a version with graphics provided by markusm (thanks again very much), if you want to try it out, you can download the binary from http://tinyurl.com/y5cr5vu . I won't yet upload a new version to extras-devel since there's nothing new besides the graphics, I'll do it sometimes when I have time to add sounds also.

Step by step (do as a default user, not root):
1. Download the binary to your device
2. Move it outside of MyDocs if not already (for example "mv ~/MyDocs/mspede ~")
3. Add executable flag ("chmod a+x ~/mspede")
4. Execute ("~/mspede")

You can also move/copy the binary to /opt/maemo/usr/bin (for this you need root access) if you like to replace the uglier version from repository with this nice piece of art

Any chance you might reconsider uploading the version with the new graphics to the extras-devel so that us mere mortals could try it too? Terminal is not really my playground

same advice than to million other similar questions: just wait. or learn how to do it. if you decide to learn, learn how to reflash first.
