getting regular 3g speeds. I've seen someone post about their incredible hspa+ speeds in nyc. I am using apn internet2.voicestream.com and have tried epc.tmobile.com and all the others but I get a "need to sign up for plan/service" kind of message when i try accessing a webpage.

I have the 5.99 tzones, and i used epc.tmobile.com . I do get 3.5 speed. I live in central NJ.

I live in chicago and use the 5.99 plan too. It says 3.5 speed for me too but when I do speed tests it not all that great but it is significantly faster than when it says 3g or 2.5. Does anyone know what the max speed of the n900 is? Is it possible to reach 21Mbps with this device?

I'm in Seattle on a legacy T-Mo 'unlimited internet' plan for $20/month.
I connect via epc.tmobile.com and depending on where I am in town the status-bar network-indicator varies between "2.5G", "3G", and "3.5G". Generally, http://speedtest.net routinely indicates I'm getting ~1.5mbps download and ~.3mbps upload.
I spoke to two T-Mo reps yesterday. One indicated possible speeds ranged from 1mbps/dl to 18mbps/dl (a big friggin' range, I know). The second rep said the speeds I'm experiencing are the fastest currently available in my area on T-Mo, and that epc.tmobile.com was the correct APN for 'getting our fastest speeds'.
Has anyone in Seattle heard or experienced faster speeds?
