It still connects to the Internet (T-mobile USA here), so why not use it all the it all the time?

I feel like I am totally missing something here.

Probably no reason for you to have multiple APNs, then. For me the MMS APN does not work for internet.

For me the problem is that my phone always seems to try to connect to the MMS APN and not the normal APN...
