ok after some pondering I think I might have gotten the wesnoth.desktop file fixed in the newer deb. Works for me. dunno about you. The rest is the same either way.

Any chance to put the whole version including the fixex into extras-testing (and extras-devel)? After playing a wesnoth campaign on my N900 for a while now I think there are no major bugs which should prevent developers from publishing.
