Good news: I think I've found and fixed the problem. It's pretty fundamentally obvious, but it didn't show up on the other desktop platforms simply because RAM is much more plentiful on other devices, and the iPhone code is different entirely.

My desktop code is quite different to thp's Maemo code, which means he needs to take my modifications and merge them with his code to make a new Maemo release.

If we can get it polished up, I'll try to create a version that merges the Maemo code with my own so that it will build anywhere. So, what I'd like to do is upload it somewhere unofficially for thp to build and you guys to test, then, if it works, go ahead with a release.

I've uploaded the test build to http://www.tuxradar.com/files/brainp...rty0.59.tar.gz - it includes a few other minor patches that bring the game closer to Windows compatibility. Ideally I'd like to have N900 + Linux + Mac + Windows all building from the same source tree!

This "patch" will enable music for N900. It's needed only because Maemo's default sdl_mixer doesn't support ogg. Additionally music files have to added to data package too

easily one of the best games so far on the n900.. thanks to all who made it happen! hopefully this patch will fix the slow-down issue.

by the way has anyone managed to unlock any of the secrets? i've scored a perfect 500g in the games it says i need to get platinum in (both in test mode and in practice mode) but everything is still locked. just wondering if it's a bug or i'm not doing something properly?

Moose32: if you can't unlock secrets, that's definitely a bug. Can anyone else unlock secrets?
