Here are a couple of shots straight off the N900. The camera appears to not record the ISO value in the EXIF data in "auto" mode.
This is the cove at Butchart Gardens outside Victoria BC at sunset. This is facing northwest.

With practice, the camera can take some very good shots, especially when there is adequate light. The macro mode seems particularly useful. I've taken some excellent product shots with it. It's very handy for on-the-spot captures.
