Sweet pants! You need to secure that better. I've had a phone (and numerous things) slip out of my pocket while in my doorless Jeep. I always keep my stuff in the right side of my pants now.

You'll need to completely disassemble it, there's also a YouTube video of how to do so.

Nope never me im a good boy

And there sre some scratches to the plasics where the pen slides in apart from that everything is as it was new (o and i lost my sylus aswell )

But thanks all for your sugestions, in relation to the dissasemble vid it still dose not tell you how to remove the slider just the slider and cover as a whole unit, suppose its just going to be a trial and error job.

here try this.. its not the pdf, but it shows where the slider portion is attached to the bottom of the screen

ohh and PS: DONT use a screw driver to leverage things out.. that will most likely scratch and bend the parts.. try to get yourself one of the plastic shims.. those work better and are always handy when taking apart electronics =)

Just google for "nokia n900 service manual". It's not clear on where the magnet is, but the disassembly instructions look pretty good.
