Thanks to titan for great work. I installed new power packages and changed etc/default/kerner-power to ideal. Lower freq is 500Mhz as should but upper freq is going to 600Mzh at maximum. I also checked etc/pmconfig and changed also there to 850Mhz. What could be wrong ?

thats not default, thats the modification, i dont know what it is but with that mod it EATS through battery on idle, i mean DESTROYS it. im seeing all these other graphs lasting many many hours, but the early switch and sample are what i think are hurting my experience all things being equal.

You need to edit the /usr/share/kernel-power-settings/ideal file. As said here.

The only two steps you need to take is:
Edit the "/usr/share/kernel-power-settings/ideal" and then run "kernel-load /usr/share/kernel-power-settings/ideal"
This will be temporary until reboot then you need to do it again.
To check the settings you could install cpufreq-info with "apt-get install cpufrequtils" if you havent. Run it after the kernel-load and post the output here.
