I am wondering if anyone knows how to default the command line (xterm CLI) to full screen? My goal is not to see the bars on top and bottom of the screen when I am on the command prompt to give me max visibility. And I do know I can adjust the font size of the command line, but I want to get rid of the lines on the top and bottom.

Thanks

Hit the fullscreen button on the toolbar and type "gconftool -s -t bool /apps/osso/xterm/toolbar_fullscreen false". Make sure to set it back to true when you feel like getting out...

Oh, default it? Maybe wmctrl and the above in .profile. I wouldn't recommend it, however.

Unfortunately "gconftool -s -t bool /apps/osso/xterm/toolbar_fullscreen false" seems to have no effect on my N900.

Perhaps the syntax is a bit off?
