and cant install rootsh cz appmanager cant connect is there another way to install it.

Try the following:
1. On your N900, browse to the following URL:
http://repository.maemo.org/extras/p...free/r/rootsh/
2. Click on "rootsh_1.5_armel.deb"
3. Select "Open with App. Manager"
Let us know if that works. Otherwise you may have to add a local filesystem repository.
