I love having Gnumeric on my N800. It was able to read and display well a large Excel file I use. However, once I converted it to a Gnumeric file I can not get Excel to read it. Even if I save it "as an Excel" file, Excel on a Mac will not read it. The only way I can now view it is to save it as a comma separated values file and view it with NeoOffice. But it's stripped of so much info that way that it's a pain. Anyone have any suggestions? The only Gnumeric I can find for a Mac is not free, and I am trying to move to open source as much as possible. Thanks.

I haven't tried it myself, but it looks like gnumeric is available on darwinports:

Sorry to bother everyone prematurely. I found that if I save in Gnumeric as "MS Excel (tm) 97/2000/XP & 5.0/95" then Neo Office can read it fine.
So FYI to anyone else using these programs.

I use MS Excell on a Mac and gnumeric on a 770. The files are saved in the MS 95 format as .xls. I have had no problem working on these files on both machines machines.
