Yes, I did modified the default.config file and sign in as a root.
Do i need to remove the Hand...avi file from the /usr/share.. something.. something folder to not playing a hand..avi during start up? I don't want to display any video file. Please read the previous thread to see how i modified default.config

Yea, sorry. I was in a hurry while typing it and I couldn't remember the actual filename


/etc/hildon-welcome.d/default.conf
[hildon-welcome]
#filename=Andrew_bootscreen.avi

Mine^^

I do use the bootscreen though, just showing you what I would have.


I used winSCP to do this but that shouldn't be a problem what ever way you do it.

just rename 'Hands-v32-h264.avi'
to anything and it wont show
rename it 'feet.avi' if you want!
