I'm ready to read reviews on it, and I don't trust Eldar, but I think it would be better with Maemo on it.

The Google translation is a bit ****ed up though.

For those who root a multimedia Symbian device from Nokia (their flagship) with capacitive touchscreen with similar specss N900 this is a device to consider as upgrade path from N97 (or N95).

If you prefer Maemo you're better off with N900 or its succesors.

Media seems like the huge selling point on this phone. I know a couple multimedia students that'll want this. When all is said and done though, it's still built on that lunk o' junk that is Symbian... I'll stick with my N900.

... although HDMI output would be awesome...

... but not for that phone as its only 320x640....

Looking at the official pics, it looks really good. I love the physical design and color choices.
