Second issue I've noticed is when using IT2007HE from flash, anything I load (be it a webpage, control panel, file manager, application manager), the cpu shoots up to 100% for a few seconds as opposed to 75%~90% on the IT2006, albeit slower response time.
the IT2006 unit is booting from internal flash, the IT2007HE unit is booting from mmc2 (Kingston 2gb)
I did some searching in regards to my issues, but to no avail did anything come up. If these issues have been addressed elsewhere, can someone help link to the proper thread(s) to help further my research?
First issue I've come across is the inaccuracy(?) of the IT2007HE's battery life icon. I've been using the unit for about 5hr's with wifi on. The increase life from ~3.5hr on IT2006 is very noticable and very welcoming indeed. The thing is, the battery applet on the top right corner has been registering 4 bars consistantly. I knew this cannot be right. However, I was continuing to fiddle with xterm without the power adaptor plugged in, then it dropped to one bar (I dont know when, but this is within a 20 minutes of last seeing the 4 bars). My backlight level is set to 5/9 during the entire session. Also, it still reads at 4 bars now, when i click the IT2007HE icon, a popup comes up saying 'Charging', yet the power adaptor is not in.
Second issue I've noticed is when using IT2007HE from flash, anything I load (be it a webpage, control panel, file manager, application manager), the cpu shoots up to 100% for a few seconds as opposed to 75%~90% on the IT2006, albeit slower response time. Sure the images/page/session loads up faster, however, does this have a strain on the battery life (being that it seems IT2007HE is eating more than it can chew even at a few seconds)?
Third issue I've came across is that the magnetic sensor on the 770 registers when the cover is on, but the feature for 'disconnect when cover on device' is not present when using IT2007HE. Is it possible to copy the respective files this feature is called upon on IT2006 over to IT2007HE to enable this?
Fourth issue I've noticed is Marbles not working. Nothing major, I can still play on the IT2006 unit, but is there a workaround for this?`
Not really an issue, but to my experience, bluetooth surfing on the 770 is much more efficient on battery life than compared to wifi (even at 10mA setting). I'm still running a test on bluetooth tethering to my laptop. with IT2006, I clock at 10+ hours continuous use surfing and chatting on googletalk/xchat/pidgin, with 5/9 backlight. with IT2007HE, that remains to be seen.
In addition, I'm still trying to figure out how to get PAN with bluetooth to work. So far, to no avail following the how-to's and downloading the required libraries.
Can anyone help shed some light? Much appreciated. Thanks.
