Okay, my issue is as follows, i have tried several Bios's and put them into the Home/user/.picodrive/bios area as per instructions then renamed it to a valid file name.

When i boot a game it flashes black and it closes taking my back to the rom selection screen, however if i try and purposly load a rom from another region it boots and says its the wrong region.

So to summerise if i use a rom with the right bios region, it doesnt play, however if i play one with the wrong region the emulator starts but i cannot proceed.

You should have all 3 region bios fies in /home/user/.picodrive/bios and then you don't have to worry about the CD region anymore.
If you followed all instructions here and got nothing to work, maybe your bios or rom are corrupt. Try to find different ones.

Thanks, i wasnt aware i could use all 3 bio's in the same folder i thought they clashed.
