It may however not be clear to everyone that this is what happens. So I should skip that update then this time?
If you want to keep your Qt4.6 packages you manually installed... yeah skip it.

On a general, short term scope analysis:

- if a firmware release is required to enter a new market, profit is not possible unless you release the firmware release for that market.

- if a firmware release isn't required to keep the money from people that have already bought your product, releasing it doesn't generate any short term profit.

*shrug*

Personally, in this context I just think they're not releasing the firmware update because it hasn't completed quality testing successfully. I mean, that seems to be a very obvious reason for me.

volt, yes, and further I think the delay might be a positive thing for other regions. Maybe Nokia's has chosen the Hongkong people to become their guinea pigs. If the fw has any sucky properties, they will suffer from the them first.
By the time it arrives to other regions the release is as shiny as a babys assss...teriod.

because UK likes tea? Kernel Sanders didn't like tea, and he placed a clause in the contracts for the UK. That, "Under NO circumstances shall a KFC store be allowed to be open 24 hours!!!"

But you're just in time for the 4 kibipost mark. This is a geek forum after all.

Not sure there's room in the thread title for your kitty's bush. Maybe we can remove the (now irrelevant) stuff about PR1.2 to make space
