Ok, the whole keyboard sucking is an opinion. There are those who don't like the N900's keyboard (ysss for example I think prefers the Blackberries).

Maybe I'm confused, but what's to stop you from putting a custom ROM on the Milestone (assuming that it's hardware is exactly the same as the Droid's minus the difference in the cellular chip)? My friend does that on the Droid all the time.

Well, 2.1 Just came out on the Milestone and was available for the droid for months so already this is way better than what Nokia is doing with pr 1.2.
@f2thak
Are you aware that ZodTTD is going to develop a fully working PSX emulator for Android and that it already has fully working emulators of the SNES, GBA, Genesis and more.

So how long has the Android OS been out? The N900 has only been out for half a year, and when pr 1.2 comes out, it will be a big advancement. Meego, an entirely new OS made by Nokia and Intel, is also coming to the N900.
And what gives you the nerve to come on a forum where there are a lot of developers for this phone, and start whining about ZodTTD? How about you do a search and find out that every emulator you mentioned is ALREADY AVAILABLE for the N900.
But of course you wouldn't know any of this... Since you're a TROLL after all...

I've heard that Android can't really run at it's full potential speed. That includes apps regardless of the phone's processing power. Is this true? What is the cause?

Not sure, but I'm guessing it's the same problem for any cross-platform (or in the case of Android..and Meego in the future cross-device) system. For example, multi-platform games for the 360 and PS3. Apps for Android might be made using the lowest common demoninator that the developer thinks the app will run on, thus not taking advantage of say the hardware in a faster Android device (because the older Android devices don't have that hardware).
That's one of the strengths of Apple's platform (uniformity) although they have their problems too, and they'll only get worse as Apple introduces more variation (e.g. iPhone 4G). That's also why people speculate that most of the games will stay on the iPhone platform because there's more uniformity in hardware regardless of how the marketshare changes in the future.
