Very nice, especially the media player Icons!
i'm still working on them to change every icon in the hole phone.
The media player icons come from the windows7 cristal clear icon pack.
here you have the map /hildon/scalable/ with icons, almost every icon is change a few to go :

Sorted out now thankyou les_garten and the rest that helped me. The problem was that the phone get closing the connection due to the power save feature.

Could someone let me know what the name of the little alarm symbol icon is and where it's located? I thought i'd found it but when I changed it to my own design (nothing fancy, I just coloured it yellow rather than the default white) when I set an alarm I still get the plain white one.

i know its round about the middle of the thread if thats any help, somewhere before my font changing mod
and there are at least 3 alarm icons to change for different parts of the phone (i think!)

i'm running now already for few days on PR1.2 beta.
some new and better improvements against PR1.1
the file directory is also different, so i need to check it out, to create mods with icons, sounds, led control, transitions, systemui buttons.
it's all different.
like some programs you install on n900, doesn't work anymore because of the change directories.
ussd pad and widget you don't need anymore because the telephone does it now.
many new adds, like arrange icons on desktop.
screenshot wills follow

Can you post a screen shot of this sequence?
1) Open a Xterm
2) type root Hit enter
3) you should have a # prompt
4) type passwd hit enter ( note the spelling of that command, it is not a typo)
Let's see what this brings.
If it asks you to change root's password, set it carefully and slowly. Ohhh, and remember it of course.
