After a backup restore my cpu is now at 100%

dbus-daemon at 40%

whats going on there

for what is this?

could download htop and use that to kill process... i dont know what it is. google it....

after killall the phone restarts....and then its again at 100%
someone has any idea?

shut down
take of battery
put it back
power on and after couple of minutes monitor cpu activity

If you can get into HAM or xterm and try uninstall some 'devel' stuff or whatever new apps you may have installed recently?
My n900 is at 100% for the first 1 - 4 minutes on some boot ups.. Maybe try remove all widgets from desktops..

This is all if you can get anything to activate under the load..... (or reflash )

dbus is the backbone of the n900. It's the layer between the hardware and software. Somehow it seams like it need to find or run something and loops.

Easeiest would be a reflash
