Congratulations!

Install whatever you like on it - the sky's the limit, I personally install applications using the Application Manager but I really don't think it makes a great deal of difference, it comes down to personal choice (please someone correct me if I'm wrong). Though personally I prefer to install all of my applications on the device itself as opposed to the MMC, depending on the amount of space available.

Just out of curiosity where did you purchase your 770 from?

Have fun with it

SCUMM installs directly to the Nokia as standard, not to the RS-MMC. If you've got the games, then you'll need to install them to the MMC (not the Nokia, as they don't fit).

I haven't got around to the MMC boot yet - just as a partial protection against WSOD is a great idea.

Yup, the learning curve here is very steep. My advice is to take it steady, get used to using the device first and only then start looking at the more advanced aspects of Nokia 770 ownership. There are instructions for becoming root (use the forum search and you'll find them). As for xterm, you can install it from the Application Manager.

Seriously though m8, I'd chill with the advanced stuff until you're more at ease with the Nok.

In your case, probably not.
