Bump on that - the battery life is also dependent on the screen brightness. I find that the minimal brightness is fine for reading in bed (in fact with the light off, it's almost too bright).

- Should I worry about getting WSOD? What is the likelhood, and given that these are EOL for Nokia , would repairs under warranty be an issue?
- What kind of battyer life can I expect, and what kind of standy time is typical.
If I weren't retired, I'd probably consider a 800, but reduced and fixed income makes choices a bit more constrained..
