It does show a poor lack of coordination on Nokia's part. Look at how Apple has coordinated their product releases for instance. When Apple releases a new product at one of their big shindigs, you can generally place an order for it that day. They do a good job of getting their ducks in a row before firing.

Contrast that with the N900, where it was impossible to actually buy one for months, where Ovi store has been dysfunctional since device launch, PC Suite / Ovi Suite hasn't worked, etc.

All products are going to have their gotcha moments and bugs, but a company can do a lot to make their infrastructure ready and make sure all the boxes on the todo list are checked before launching a product. It is really hard to not choke when I hear a company like Nokia talk about pushing apps and services as the way forward when they do this piss poor a job of it.

this is a prime example of why nokia usually dont give out dates b/c something always go's wrong delaying them
