Hi!
My program reads accelerometer from "/sys/class/i2c-adapter/i2c-3/3-001d/coord". This does not work any more after I updated to PR1.2. How should I read accelerometer now, and how to get future-compatible?

How it does not work? Because it should work exactly as before.

It looks to me (with my limited knowledge) that you read the coords from the device directly. My guess it that you need to use an api.

I have also used the file to read the orientation of the device in my application. I truly hope it still works, I´ll have to check...

That is strange. In my device it happens like this:

Nokia-N900:~# cat /sys/class/i2c-adapter/i2c-3/3-001d/coord
cat: can't open '/sys/class/i2c-adapter/i2c-3/3-001d/coord': No such file or directory

What could be the problem?

Are you sure your accelerometer is still working?

The problem was probably wrong flash image. I have relatively old hardware and accidentally flashed an image that was for the latest HW only. Changing to another pr1.2 image (suitable for all HWs) the accelerometer started to work (though not instantly but I needed to reboot another time after flashing, so I am not sure was it really that..).
