m sure your n900 will enjoy the indian summer..not quite sure bout you surviving the indian heat

lcd screens like the n900 uses is better in sunlight but not as bright and vivid as o/led screens...

o/led is crisp and beautiful than lcd but bad under sunlight...

manufacturers uses the newer technology because the display is better w/c majority of consumers wants. i guess that sacrifing this capability is being weighed off by what consumer wants...

N900 tr lcd is awful in sunlight!

Its totally readable, active content recognizable that is terrible!

try the cleartouch antiglare screen from boxwave.. it works wonders

That's the one I've got, and can confirm, it's absolutely brilliant.
