N900 1 day old. The issue is many apps won't download because they cannot find the python 2.5 dependencies.
I tried manually installing the extras and the extras-testing repositories and they don't seem to connect. I get a 404 error in app manager. Is there a way to download and install python manually.
Simple instructions would be helpful. Would that matter? Will the installer just try to download python anyway.
I am specifically interested in g.podder.

for some reason python-minimal (not sure what exactly its called) did not get updated with the rest of python. so you need extra-testing enabled.

i just enabled extras-testing yesterday to install fMMS and it worked. are your catalog settings the same as the wiki describes?

I enabled the extras repository in the application manager. It still list the extra repo as a failed repository.
I can access the repository in my web browser, so I know it is functional, but the app manager won't connect. Still lists it as failed

write fremantle in distribution field on extra catelog on app manager
