Hi,
My screen cracked on me last night. The touch screen is not effected, it is the LCD itself. It is bust and needs to goto Nokia or Vodafone for repair. However i did a UK firmware flash on it as I wanted the latest features rather than wait several months for Vodafone to catch up. Is the vodafone firmware avaliable for download and is it possible to apply this on a phone already on PR1.2? I do not want any excuses for them to not do this under warranty.
I am gutted by the way as the phone was great under PR1.2 and now I feel lost without it.
Cheers
Octavius

Nokias warranty does not cover cracked screen as it is caused by rough handling.

I just posted a link to a screen but i am a bit confused here... is it the actual screen or a magnifier of some kind? could you take a look if poss?.
It is listed as a "Brand New OEM replacement Touch Screen Lens Complete with Digitizer For Nokia N900 , Mobile Phone".
OOOPS lol.
