It does not matter if I use Media Converter to convert a DVD directly or use a different software package first (i.e. CloneDVD, AnyDVD) to strip the protection from the DVD then use Media Converter next to make them compatible with the 770, I usually end of with at least some of the following issues.
1 - Get a different language than English.
2 - The sound lags the video
3 - The director's cut audio
For instance, I have a Seinfeld DVD with 5 episodes on it.
Episode 1 - comes out in Spanish
Episode 2 - No problems
Episode 3 - director's cut audio
Episode 4 - No problems
Episode 5 - Sound lags the video
Anyone else having these issues with Media Converter? I have no issues when I rip the DVD to the hard drive and play them. But if I then convert those files with Media Converter or convert directly from the DVD I get the above symptoms. It seems to only happen when you rip it using Media Converter.
