Although the PyMaemo team has been rather silent for the last months, that doesn't mean we have been sitting on our laurels. On the contrary, we have been working busily on getting the MeeGo-Harmattan Python packages up-to-date and getting PySide finished so that we can provide proper Python counterparts to MeeGo Qt-based APIs.
To make our work a bit more public, we finally uploaded our Harmattan Python repositories to Gitorious:
The repos should provide a glimpse to what the core Python distribution looks like in Harmattan. There are still a few upstream packages missing (at least pexpect, storm, pycurl, and pygame), and more notably, any of our PySide-based bindings will be provided at a later date.
