Don't know how things work in China, but I usually do that sort of things using OpenVPN and an account freely obtained at UltraVPN:

https://www.ultravpn.fr/

http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...2.1.1-1maemo1/

I managed to obtain a French and an American IP address!

Well, if you're not a VPN expert I understand it could be a little difficult for you to properly configure all those things...

Just install OpenVPN, register at UltraVPN, and I'll send you the config file you need for your phone, ok?

Ok I've created the files you need, all you have to do is:

1) Download "client.zip" here

2) Extract the files inside the archive in a folder on your N900

3) Open OpenVPN from your N900's statusbar and press Manage Connections

4) Add a New connection

5) Select "client.ovpn" as the Configuration File

6) Select "ca.crt" as the Cert File

7) Click on Import

8) Done! Now you can press "Connect to client", insert the login data obtained from UltraVPN, and you'll (hopefully) obtain an american Ip adress. Don't know if it actually works in China.

Ah, I've forgotten: if the american Ip doesn't work, I've added some other servers in your config file: just open client.ovpn with a text editor and select your "remote" by removing the "#" from it and adding the "#" to the actually selected.

Good luck my friend
