no joy mate, got canola2 and canola-clean but
canola-clean installs but says wrong platform when i press execute in the app,
and the canola2 deb is not for n900 i think cos it has a long list of missing dependencies, compared to the 1 libeina0 problem with canola2 in the repos

hi there leetut

I'm not an expert nor a developer only spent to much time palying around with the n900 (so much noise on the web = impossible to find what you are looking for)

I don't know if you are still looking for a solution to your problem but...

it seems to me that the packages in your catalog are colliding with each other I'm not sure but probably they have the same packages name (libeina0) for a different product or something (canola and enna) so try this:

go to the Application Manager, then to the Application Catalog and Disable the geebox catalog (for enna) then try installing Canola again...
if it doesn't work just disable all the non related catalog for this download and try again it should work

let me know if it worked for you, there's a lot of people in need for this solution.

if you need a better explanation on how to do it let me know....

you need to use:

# root
# apt-get install libeet1=1.2.2+svn41533-maemo1

I solved the same problem with this method searching the forum, hopes it helps you.
