Hey,
I've been toying with the idea of publishing an application to Maemo extras-devel (and maybe extras!) for quite a while so I decided to create a "simple" application just to get an idea of the process:
I give you Vuvuzela!
The application is pretty straight forward, you can start and stop the playing of the Vuvuzela sound, and even play multiple ones at the same time.
For those of you who aren't familiar with it, just try watching a World Cup game and you soon will understand.
Here's a preview of the application:
There's also the possibility of changing the background colours & the colours of the actual Vuvuzela.
I haven't implemented accelerometers because I'm not a big fan, but if there's hight demand, I can try to give it a go!
Thats all for now but I do intend on adding features along very quickly!
Also, I take no credit for the picture or the sound, both were found on this thread.
I'll bump the thread as soon as my Maemo Extras request gets granted, in the meanwhile, let me know if there's anything you want me to add/change!
Also, it's my 1st app so be nice
How you can help:
- install the app and give me feedback!
- tell me how to get the icons in py2deb working for the App Manager
-help me with this problem (DONE)
Follow me on twitter HERE!
Applications I've made:
- Vuvuzela
- LTM: London Tube Map
