and also mine is an Indian version...can i flash it to a Global firmware for the Skype support..or am i asking too much from my life X-/

yes... you can and thats where i was going to point you...
Just in case this happens again! remember to export your contacts to your mmc.. then reflashing really wont bother you too much, plus backup info at least 1 a month. good luck
