create a shell script that calls all those executables

then i think there's an app that can make an icon out of the shell script so that you can put it on your desktop and launch that, no?

:O i was thinking of something like that so you make n900 transmit a song to my radio alarm that is really loud, and if its all synchronised you will have a radio alarm clock with songs from n900

someone made e a script for this when i first joined maemo. org, i couldn't really get it to work as it was my first venture into xterm but it was almost happening. i'll see if i can find the thread...

Try run each command individually on xterminal first to see which line has problem. From what you said I don't know where the permission denied is coming from. Say you may need to show us with screenshot.
