Hi guys is there any way/settings for not showing the content of the sms when it arrives in that yellow note????

If you aren't afraid to edit some config-files (root access needed).
Open
Code:
/etc/hildon-desktop/notification-groups.conf
There are config settings for the notifications.
(for example, used icons, which application handles the message, ledpattern ..)

In the sms-group ([sms-message]) add another entry:
Secondary-Text="SMS"

And the text "SMS" will be shown in the notification window
(both, the little flying window when the message arrives and
other the yellow window).

i get always permission denied.i tryed sudo gainroot and only root but cant get in /etc

edit:
i get it now but i have another question can i change the color from the notification window from yellow to red?i tried this with conky before but im not sure with this

Wow...thank a lot man............changing to these settings does'nt makes the n900 unstable rite???

I found this option while looking in the
sources for hildon-desktop.
Just played a bit with this option and so far
all runs fine.

hmm.......gonna try...will let u know how it goes.....

By the way is there any chance for hiding files like this??
