While trying to adjust and troubleshoot the wonderful fMMS application (thanx frals ) I came into a terrible realization: I have no idea how to use X Terminal. I hate to be the noob who looks through forums and asks questions instead of solving the problem himself, but my lack of expertise in X Terminal brings me to a point where I have to ask questions to fix my fMMS settings.

When inputting the commands that are necessary to clear my APN connections in the fMMS program, I don't get the desired response from X Terminal. I don't even know if I'm inputting the text correctly. Furthermore, I don't know how to input it correctly.

If there is anybody with the patience to walk me through this process so that I can help myself and be better acquainted with my N900, it would be very much appreciated.

Firstly download from application manager "rootsh" app. then enter in
X-term "sudo gainroot" and then run all the other commands you have!
