So I just reflashed my phone ( as a frequently do)
but this time it simply didnt work, meaning that I would flash the fiasco then the eMMC (I would recieve the succesful flash message) but the phone would not get past the white dots boot menu.

Finally after and hour of flashes with different batteries, sim in and out, sd card in and out... etc

I finally got it to boot...

only to find this.....

what do I do
Is something corrupted?

thanks

Wow, that screenshot is impressive. I saw something very similar (only slightly less bad) when I was experimenting with repartitioning and multiboot, but mine was a one-off error that went away when I cycled the power. Sorry I don't have any advice, but I wish you luck in resolving your problem.

I've never seen anything even close to that.

When I was a metal finisher in an automobile plant we had a couple of terms for damage metal. Many of my fellow metal finishers were from south Texas. If something was bad they'd tell me it was "no bueno". If it was really bad it was "way no bueno". Your image looks "way no bueno" to me.

What sticks out in my mind is that you frequently flash your phone. Is it possible there are only so many times you can flash a phone before it is "worn out". Years ago when I was flashing Motorola V635 I ran across a couple that stopped taking flashes. I'm guessing here.

Hope you find the answer, and soon.

Hmm, there was a thread about how unbrickable the n900 was. Guess your the first who made it. But most other smartphone are easy to brick i think.
here: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...k+bricked+n900

Sorry for you.

Edit: Can't you send it in for reperation? If they can't fix it, you should get a new one.
