Faster application manager, IMO is top quality app for the n900, a must have app.

So far it has not interfere with the build in n900 program manager;
and it not only simplifies the process of installing/un-installing/upgrading n900 software but its also extremely fast.

True, I already switched to Faster Application Manager. This app looks great, made my life lot easier.

The only complaint I have about is I don't know of a way to completely replace the crppled dog that is the standard app manager. If there was a way to make OVI and .deb links to work with it, it'd be perfect.

Are there gconf settings or something?

Yes I do completely agree , it should default app manager.

Does it filter by catalog?

That is, if developer, testing, and maemo.org are all enabled; does it indicate what catalog an update is from?
