Happened twice when I put new media on mine. I just restarted and all was well.

  • I have restarted
  • I've uninstalled recently installed apps

Still no luck

Was one of the recent the update to FeedingIt? I suspected that was the culprit. But I had also recently installed Abiword too.
I know that there are some terminal commands that force updates to the media trackers. I'd search for that.

Sounds like your media tracker has got corrupted, this will delete its database and restart it.

In X Terminal type:
Code:
tracker-processes -r
/etc/osso-af-init/tracker.sh start
You don't need to wait for the prompt to return, if it doesn't after a few seconds just shut X Terminal down. The phone will be sluggish for a while as the tracker does its stuff.
