it is a bug which will be fixed with the next update coming in the next days, as posted in the other thread.
in the meantime you could try to set the framerate to 24 per second..
i remember using route 66 on my n95. that program ran at about 60 fps. when driving the arrow did not jump but ran smooth over the road.
the gps refreshes like once per second? so every second the arrow jumps forward. why not do it like the route 66 where the program lets the arrow role while waiting for the next gps input? this makes the program look allot less choppy.
