Please open x terminal and enter this command to get your wlan ip.
/sbin/ifconfig wlan0 | grep inet
The output is something like this:
inet addr: 192.168.178.100 Bcast 192.168.178.255 Mask: 255.255.255.0
Push the Config Button in TinySmbGui and enter the IP address and the Subnetmask which was displayed by the command and save the settings.
Now try again to start the server.
If the Server-Status is online. The Server running and the config is correct.
You can ignore the Wlan-off message.
you know how I can remove inet 6 from the N900.. i think there will be the problem of the wlan problem!

Are there any other steps needed to prepare the N900 ?
I can't access it via my browser , even with everything installed and running.
server staus = online
N900 is connected, and IP address & Subnetmask match.
any advice ? or something to try ?

I mean even after typing in the IP shown on my N900 into my browser, and with the N900 running fine, my browser cannot see the N900.
Maybe i'll try removing and reinstall the tinysmb files on N900 ?
or maybe it just won't work with this router ?

setting up on configured all fine, n900 shows up on my vista and ubuntu machines. but i cannot access it, any ideas?
