with gloves it doesn't work with stylus it has poor accuracy and requires a single angle stylus.
The gloves argument I always find amusing.

And yes capacitive is great for dragging things around.

The comparison would be (nearly) apple vs apple if you use the exact platform and UI against both type of screen technology.

Unfortunately for this debate (and fortunately for the users), they're usually implemented with different components altogether (OS and UI) and that's because they're designed with different targets\priorities in mind.

I won't delve into the specifics, because it'll no doubt incite more debates which are impossible to settle.

In short...... cut it out already =P

lol those are hilarious but again a compromise.
if you are not style conscious and all about compromise then nothing beats a resistive screen with or without a stylus.

The nail stylus works on capactative too (assuming they are relatively trim). Give it a go at your local store.

Just a physics reply had enough of the capacitive vs resistive "debate", nails will not a work on a capacitive screen no matter how trim you are. No need to go to a local store I have plenty of capacitive phones. There is not enough conducting surface to make them work hence why capacitive stylus have a broad flat surface to function. if your nails are short enough your actual finger most likely makes it function without contact with the same poor accuracy, but your nails will do nothing.

From a biological perspective this would be obvious that it's linked to your finger but the touch accuracy occurs by balancing the contact point around the finger nail to make it more accurate (probably taking the fingernail as the centrepoint).

Again try it out on an iphone before you run your mouth.
