Dear Colleagues,

Can someone tell us how to install amsn? should I install amsn first then add libgssdp-1.0-1(>=0.6.4) and libgupnp-1.0-2(>=0.12.8) provided by MohammadAG post # 20? How to add these two files?

Thanx

It was instructed on previous page.

http://thenokiablog.com/2010/01/28/h...00-x-terminal/

I do not remember the order but it will not install if you try it wrong.

Ok here's how I got it worked:
First download the two missing dependencies:
http://repository.maemo.org/pool/mae...+0m5_armel.deb
http://repository.maemo.org/pool/mae...+0m5_armel.deb

Then open terminal
enter 'root'
'dpkg -i /home/usr/MyDocs/libgup.. etcetc... _armel.deb
dpkg -i /home/usr/MyDocs/libgss ... etcetc _armel.deb '

(assuming you downloaded in /MyDocs maybe it's in /MyDocs/Downloads .. )
Well then go to amsn site and download and it works.
And the cam too!

Dear PHAP and Friends,

i noticed that after the last thread by PHAP, no one commented again....!!

do we assume that your problem have been solved, because mine didn't....??

PHAP, i tried doing what you said, but am not too expert in X-terminal, and to be honest i don't have MyDocs/usr in my phone...
if you mean that to locate the file where the packages were dowloaded, then please clarify because i know many others like me they are not expert in X-Terminal also....

in my case, the files that i have is the memory card, and my device which is called by default ( N900 ), and there is where i kept the dowloaded files..

i request you to please and based on N900 file location, to write the exact order in X-Terminal, case sensitive & also please show if there should be any spaces for example ( dpkg i- ) is it a space between the (dpkg) and the (i)...??
