Reminds me of the Queen song "Who Wants To Live Forever" as used on the film 'Highlander'

N900! was Nokia's flagship!! they forget this too easily.

I still can remember my day getting the package from UPS guy from newegg pre-order. it sure was great.

n900 wasn't flagship, it was step 4/5..... one could tell with experience from n810 etc that this was completely inevitable ect....

2 years warranty or similar device. For first ones there is still over an year warranty left (unless you live in a coutry where companies can legally squeeze their customers balls so that they crack)

sometimes yes. the limits aren't artificial, I've seen some really pissed guys with 3GS and iOs 4 spamming all over forums that "do not install iOs 4"

and sorry you can blame me. I am buying a phone (or two) a year so I am feeding the ROS (rapid obsolience syndrom)

btw my 6630 works well still, last fw update was in 2006.....
(e: sorry, still bugging but that has came from multiple dips to water and snow)

Many Android phones are seeing lots of updates. The droid, although flagship, has seen... 2? full os updates, I think. Android at least is still one OS under the hood.

Actually, looks like we're already getting yet another minor upgrade starting two days from now. (A few fixes plus enabling Flash 10.1 for Motorola Droid.) So that's TWO major upgrades this year (2.01->2.1, just a couple of weeks ago 2.1->2.2, and now from 2.2 FRG01B->2.2 FRG22D). That's just this year. This doesn't count the 2.0 update 1 upgrade last year from the initial 2.0 release..
