When I had an Facebook widget on my desktop, my battery was discharged pretty fast. After I removed that, and few other widgets, now my battery is good for 2 days.
About sharing to Facebook, you don't need any widgets.
If you want to upload a photo, just open a photo in N900, click the Sharing icon, click Share via Service (you have to configure a service once, prior to this) and that's it.

I can't find the plain facebook plugin in the repos or the ovi store anymore - all i can find is the combined pixelpipe plugin, which isn't what I want to use...

I thought the feature was uploading the picture on facebook
