Can anybody recommend a CHEAP GPS DATA LOGGER, meaning it not only works real time but also can be taken by itself and log data, for later use with maemo mapper or google earth?

I think a GPS receiver would be great but a GPS Data logger would be way cool because i dont need to have my n800 with me. You can even use it to track movement from anywhere you put the gps on(ex: car) and later retrieve it. Am I right?

Search eBay for an older garmin etrex. The yellow one. You should be able to pick one up for less than $100. You won't be able to use it with your Nokia though. I don't know of any bluetooth gps that does the data logger thing as well.
