hi guys, ive got a n900 and when i connect via usb to my pc all is does is charge, there is no options to select mass storage mode or pc suite.....what have i done?
i'm sure its something in the phone as its the same on my laptop.

any ideas?

What cable are you using? Are the data pins shorted?

its the one that came with the phone. its worked before plenty of times but all of a sudden there is no options. i have even restored the phone and still no joy

actually i think you may be onto something there. i'm pretty sure the mrs said something about one of the kids runnin round the house with the cable......think i should borrow another usb cable and try that....sorry to trouble you!

The usb cable supplied with the N900 has a large cable clip attached to it with Nokia logo.

Did you check the drivers on your computer?
