those of you that use betamax (voipbuster, voipstunt, nonoh and the hundred rest), you know that if you register a valid phone no (you mobile for eg!) with your betamax service, u can set the voip application to send a caller id info so that the recipient of your call sees your mobile no calling, not some strange numbers or privte no.

the setting for that was "public user name" on the symbian phones
it is "address" on n900's sip settings

give it a try!

Address: yourusername@sip.actionvoip.com
Password: yourpassword

Advanced Settings:
Use for telephone numbers - Checked
User name: yourusername
Transport: Auto
Outbound proxy: leave it blank
Port: 5060

Discover public address - Checked
Loose routing - Unchecked

Keep-alive mechanism: Auto
Keep-alive period: Auto

Auto-detect STUN - Checked

Anyhow it will not work in Dubai, UAE unless you use a vpn. All of it is blocked by the ISP.

In this way you can easily enjoy free of charge international calls through every top up credit of VoIP services. This is a good feature of the service.

I am trying to configure Telbo in my N900, but he did not complete the calls.
I have now discovered the site (telbo.com) that this provider does not allow SIP calls.
Is there any setting "alternative" to make calls with Telbo?

thanks!!!
