If yo uare worried about getting water on your N800 dont be,
I kid you not my N800 was underwater for 30 seconds playing Mp3's.
I use my N800 to play music when I go fishing like always, but this time my N800 got tossed into a lake by a sudden gust of wind. I had it on a chair then the chair and my N800 landed in a lake. You know when something like this happens I was so far away from my N800 I watch my baby take a huge dive into a fishing lake. I ran over to get the chair then I notice my N800 was in 2 feet of water still playing facing up still playing. My N800 had to underwater for atleast 30 secs. I then jumped into the lake ( clothes and all) and snatched it up. When I took it out of the water it was still playing so I quicking removed the battery and dried it off. After 10 hours of drying it out I then returned the battery and what do you know It works fine. Nothing wrong with the LCD or memory cards.

So if anyone is worried of getting your N800 a little wet don't be. Mine was at the bottom of a fishing lake still playing music for 30 seconds with no issues. I do not recommend testing this butt I thought I would share this with everyone since it is nice to know they can get wet and still keep kicking.
I was soo worried I would be buying a new one (350$ later) but nothing is wrong with mine. Tell you the truth I have dropped this bad boy 2 times on its head and it still keeps kicking.

Just thought I share this with everyone......

funny thing is my 9 year old son was looking at it play and he did not even jump in the water to get it. He yelled out Dad your Music player is playing underwater. I said no way get it, and he said you get it its in the water. So here I am runing full speed down the lake and I jump into the water.

Kids if its not a gameboy they can careless. I bet if I had Fogger running on Mame he jump right in.

I don't think I'll try this one for myself

There was a recent podcast in which Textra or someone put her keyboard in the washing machine...

Most electronics can be put in water, as long as there's no power to them. It's one of the ways we used to clean keyboards. Take it apart, run the board under water and let it dry completely.

Well, my Treo wasn't so lucky. I brought home my favorite microbrew home on my motorcycle and the growler exploded in my case with my phone in it. I opened the case and found it swimming in 2" of beer. Thats one reason why know have a n800.
