Hello all,

I apologize for adding yet another thread on this topic, but after reading the various threads I am not finding the same situation nor any solutions (no wireless N signals, rebooted router{NetGear WGR614} and the like). I have searched BugZilla to no avail, and have posted a bug. I hope the following description in the link below is clear, but I will summarize here:

After 2+ mo. of flawless connection to home and several free hot-spots, my OS 2006 49-2 (out-of-the-box, with no mods) has become legally blind. When I connect to the internet I am told "No Connections Available". On RARE occasions (5 - 10%) the 770 can 'see' available networks at the usual places, however, trying to connect generally yields the message "Network Connection Error. Try Again?"

Any and all help is appreciated.

- Scott

Im not sure what is causing this but reflashing the OS may/should help.

You could install syslogd and see whether the connection manager produces any useful output.

Mine stopped seeing any wifi at home after 6 months working great. I was on OS2006. Flashing to 2007HE didn't help, but installing the last OS2005 has fixed it. Not ideal but I only use it for internet radio and a bit of web browsing so I'd give it a go.

Mine does that occasonally, it will work fine, and then stop seeing Wifi connections, but for me all I have to do is shut it off, and turn it back on. (I am on Os2007HE)
Could be a firmware corruption? I do know that OS2006 And OS2005 shut the wifi module down when you slide the cover over the screen....
dunno, how long did you try 2007HE for? Long enough to go through a power cycle or two?
