Following the recent introduction of the TfL on-street cycle hire scheme, I'm aware that there have been some applications created for iPhone and Android.

Any likelihood of something similar coming for Maemo?

Alternatively, is there some way of making the information more accessible in a web browser?

There is a map here:

https://web.barclayscyclehire.tfl.gov.uk/maps

But it takes forever to load in MicroB and isn't really usable.

It looks like it is a layer on Google Maps. Is there any way of accessing it directly in Mappero, or something like that?

Looks like in the meantime I'm just going to have to try and download the map as a giant PDF and use that.

Also try www.cyclehi.com. It loads quicker and seems to be better (for my needs) -- minimalist and quick map loads.

Yes the dockr one is rather slow to load. This looks better.

Sadly some real-world testing of those two sites today revealed that the information they use to display no. of free docking spaces isn't reliable. Both were showing availability in several stations that turned out to be completely empty.

Also, they both seem occasionally to decide that I'm somewhere near London Zoo...when I'm nowhere near.
